Chattanooga's oldest mountain bike race is a full weekend now. Pitch a tent on Lula Lake Land Trust's private preserve, ride 50 or 25 miles of Lookout Mountain singletrack, and let 1885 Grill and The Feed handle every meal.

It's a weekend.
Most races end when you cross the line. This one keeps going. Come up Friday, race Saturday and wake up Sunday on the mountain.

Race, then party
Check-in opens at 7. The 50 rolls at 9:00 and the 25 at 9:15. From 11:30 it's a party: live music, a band from 1:30 to 3:30, burgers off the grill, cold beer and awards.
SundayOct 25
Coffee and no alarm
Hot coffee, a granola bar and nowhere you need to be. Sore legs, good stories, pack up slow.
Camping is an add-on at checkout, registration is required, and it's family friendly. Spectators get in free on Saturday and can grab a camping-only ticket.
The place
Fall asleep to the sound of the falls.
Lula Lake Land Trust has protected the Rock Creek watershed on Lookout Mountain since 1994. Waterfalls spill off sandstone bluffs, the creek runs cold and clear, and the views go on for miles.
This is private conservation land. For one weekend it's your campground, and the race is how you get the keys.

Chattanooga's oldest mountain bike race, and one of the best routes on Lookout Mountain. Land trust singletrack, the Durham Mine and 5 Points systems, and a finish through the woods you camped in.
50 Miles
9:00 AM start3,500+ ft of climbing
Starts at the Core Preserve, drops 5 miles down Lula Lake Rd to the Durham Mine trails, crosses into 5 Points and out to the Ascalon trailhead. Then the 7-mile High Point section of the Cloudland Connector and home through the Core Preserve and the Moonshine trails.

9:15 AM startThe back half of the 50
Leaves the road at the Longbranch Connector, picks up the Cloudland Connector and finishes on the same Core Preserve and Moonshine singletrack as the 50. eBikes (Class 1 only) roll at 8:45.

The food
Every meal's handled.
From Friday dinner to Sunday coffee, the food is cooked by two of Chattanooga's favorite kitchens and it's included with your registration. Your family and crew eat too. Cold water and snacks are out all day between meals.
Race day party
Bring the whole crew.
Saturday from 11:30 to 4:30 the start/finish turns into a party: live music, a band from 1:30 to 3:30, food off the grill and awards. The Kids’ Fun Ride rolls out at 10:30. It is a ride, not a race, and it has its own registration on BikeReg.

Can my family come?
Yes. Spectators get in free on Saturday, camping is family friendly, and they can buy a camping-only ticket. Food and drinks are available to buy on site.
I want to ride, not race.
Sign up for Party Pace. No bib, no timing, same trails and same party. You still need to finish by the 4:30 cutoff.

What if I can't make check-in?
Email info@lulalake.org and we'll send a waiver. A friend drops it off, grabs your packet and number, and gets them to you before the start.
Can I get a refund?
No refunds or transfers. Deferrals are only offered in certain medical situations, so reach out if that's you.
